Transduktion I - in Geophysique

about

A wave might lap at the seashore in a sinusoidal fashion at a rate of 1 wave every 8 seconds. Ocean waves are much more complex. We set our sensors to record the pressure on a shore at in open sea, then transduced the water pressure into a sinusoidal electrical signal where the higher the pressure, the higher the frequency of the sinusoid. These signals were converted to audio resulting in an acoustic representation of ocean waves.
